- Originally I qualified as a teacher of Technology and have been totally commited to staff development ever since.
Trading as 'Maximise' I have been providing staff support in ICT for some 25 years. Initially employed as a Peripatetic Head of IT for some 6 years in Croydon and then as a Director of Technology in a CTC in the North East. My particular concern is that ALL subject areas, admin staff, technicians and LSAs included, should be using ICT to maximise both teaching and learning. The bottom line is we never stop learning - and WWW2 is a whole new ball-game! No previous experience of SL apart from a fleeting demonstration at a recent conference.
I have a Naace Research Bursary in order to investigate the use of VLEs in Schools - and contributions/opinions would be welcome.

Thanks for your greeting. Did we work in Croydon at the same time (I was at Davidson from it's opening in 1980 until 1985).
